Former Minority Leader and Tamale South MP, Haruna Iddrisu, has urged Ghanaians to use the December 7 general elections to protest the economic hardships under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
Speaking at the NDC's Upper West regional campaign launch in Wa, Iddrisu criticized the Nana Addo-Bawumia administration for mismanagement and corruption, which he says has led to a severe economic crisis.
The event, which included a peaceful procession through Wa, culminated in a rally at Tendaamba School, where NDC leaders, including Deputy Communications Officer Malik Basintale, emphasized the party's commitment to fighting corruption and empowering women.
The party also unveiled its parliamentary candidates for the region.
