The Santrofi, Akpafu, Likpe, and Lolobi (SALL) election petitioners have appealed the Ho court’s dismissal of their challenge against John Peter Amewu’s election as MP for Hohoe.
The High Court ruled on July 29 that it lacked jurisdiction, as the petition questioned the constitutionality of CI 128.
Dissatisfied, the petitioners argue the SALL areas remain part of the Hohoe Municipality, and the Electoral Commission's statutory breaches rendered Amewu’s election void.
They seek to nullify the High Court’s decision and declare Amewu’s election invalid, citing misinterpretations and legal errors.
