I’ll establish National Sovereign Wealth Fund to rival IMF – Cheddar

Nana Kwame Bediako, leader of the New Force Movement, has promised to establish a National Sovereign Wealth Fund if elected in 2024.

This fund, intended as Ghana's new economic backbone, would secure the nation's wealth and challenge reliance on the IMF.

Bediako criticized the export of Ghana's minerals for minimal returns and vowed to end such practices.

He envisions the fund as an independent, autonomous entity that would protect and manage Ghana’s resources, aiming to transform the country’s economic landscape.
