I’ll graciously accept to be Mahama’s running mate – Alex Mould

The former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation(GNPC), Mr. Alex Mould says he’s ever ready to partner ex-President John Mahama as a running mate if that offer is made to him to wrestle power from the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) come 2020 elections.

According to him, he has all the qualities to make a good Vice President and will put up a sterling performance when in office just as he did in his previous positions as CEO for two key state institutions (GNPC and NPA).

With less than a year and a half to the 2020 December general election, the NDC Flagbearer ex-President John Mahama is said to have started consulting widely with the party to pick a running mate to partner him.

One of the names that have come up as possible running mate is Mr. Alex Mould.

Speaking on the issue with Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Starr FM Wednesday, Mr. Mould stated that if such offer is made him, he’ll happily seize that opportunity because he’ll bring a lot of competences to work with to develop Ghana.

“What I’ll bring to a Mahama presidency would be my skills set, the experience I have in both the public and private sector. My experience in the area of energy, finance, banking and managing the economy."

"If I receive a call from the party and Mr. John Mahama to take up any role in an NDC government I’ll be ready.”
