I’ll prioritise farmers with advanced technologies and affordable equipment – Bawumia

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, has committed to prioritizing agriculture if elected President in 2024.

He plans to collaborate with countries like Brazil and China to adopt their best agricultural practices and technologies.

Bawumia aims to establish District Agricultural Mechanization centers to provide affordable equipment and enhance production. He also intends to shift from chemical fertilizers to lime treatment, leveraging Ghana's limestone resources for cost-effective soil fertility improvement.

These promises were made during his campaign tour in the Upper East Region, highlighting his vision to transform Ghana's agricultural sector.
