Nana Yaa Jantuah, former Director of Public Relations and External Affairs at the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC), has revealed she was forced out by elements within the Akufo-Addo administration.
In an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu, she described facing baseless accusations, including arrogance, leading to her resignation.
Despite the pressure, her professional competence was never questioned.
Jantuah cited her association with the Convention People’s Party (CPP) and her family's Nkrumahist legacy as factors in her departure, suggesting political vendetta. She emphasized her dedication to her role at PURC, working diligently for Ghana's benefit.
