President Nana Akufo-Addo has dismissed accusations from former President John Dramani Mahama of being a "clearing agent" in response to corruption allegations against his appointees.
Addressing these claims during the commissioning of The Law House in Accra, Akufo-Addo reaffirmed his commitment to due process and justice in combating corruption.
Mahama has labeled Akufo-Addo as a "clearing agent" following allegations against former Sanitation Minister Cecilia Abena Dapaah and others.
Akufo-Addo emphasised that he will not compromise due process and the rules of natural justice, despite the criticism this stance may attract.
