I would have withdrawn but for the love I have for Assin North – Gyakye Quayson

James Gyakye Quayson, MP for Assin North, has shared his challenges in serving his constituents, including legal issues over his alleged dual citizenship.

On May 17, 2023, the Supreme Court ruled his election unconstitutional, declaring his seat vacant.

Despite this setback, he contested the by-election and successfully reclaimed his position.

In an interview, Quayson expressed his unwavering commitment to his constituents, stating he endured hardships out of love for them.

He urged Ghanaians to vote for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming elections to help reset the country.
