Franklin Cudjoe, founder of the think tank IMANI Africa, has criticized the Supreme Court for hypocrisy and bias in its handling of disenfranchisement cases.
He pointed out the Court's decision to support four constituencies abandoned by their MPs, contrasting it with its disregard for the SALL constituency, which has lacked representation for nearly four years due to electoral oversights.
Cudjoe expressed frustration at the Court's indifference to SALL's plight while swiftly addressing the needs of other constituencies, questioning why some cases receive preferential treatment based on political interests. He argues this reflects a politicized judicial system that undermines democratic rights.
