Kasoa vote transfer violence: I wasn’t arrested – NDC Awutu Senya East PC

Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor, NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya East, has denied being arrested in connection with recent violence in Kasoa.

According to her, she was only invited to the police station because her driver and security guard were arrested after a licensed gun was found in her car.

The police had earlier reported that Okunor was among three persons arrested for possessing a firearm without lawful authority.

Okunor clarified that she was not arrested and was only present at the station to assist with the investigation.
