Keta Port has become a political gimmick – Mahama

John Mahama, the NDC Presidential Candidate, has criticized the government's promise to build a port in Keta, calling it a "political gimmick."

Speaking at a rally in Keta, he accused the Akufo-Addo administration of failing to deliver on its 2016 promise and wasting resources on a project that hasn't progressed.

Mahama pledged that if elected, his government would investigate the Keta Port initiatives, including feasibility studies and appointments.

He also promised to dredge the Keta Lagoon, expand salt production, and implement policies to boost employment and restore the economy.
