Leaked tape: I have not committed any crime – Ofosu Ampofo

Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, former NDC National Chairman, has denied wrongdoing after a leaked tape allegedly showed him inciting violence.

He expressed confidence in being vindicated, citing his clean political record since 1993.

Facing trial for conspiracy to commit assault against a public officer, he maintains his innocence and has not had any prior issues with the law.

The court has granted him more time to prepare his defence, with proceedings set to begin on June 20, 2024.
