John Dramani Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, has urged the government to allow the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) to function without interference.
During a media session in Bolgatanga, Mahama criticized the current government's alleged meddling in OSP affairs, citing the resignation of the first Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu.
Mahama pledged that, if elected, he would ensure the OSP operates freely, emphasizing the importance of tackling corruption without political bias.
He stressed the significance of investigating corruption within one's own administration, not just targeting predecessors.
