NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has contrasted the NPP’s educational strides with the challenges under former President John Mahama's administration, using chalk shortages as a symbol of the past and the distribution of laptops to students and teachers as a sign of progress.
Speaking in the Northern Region on November 21, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the NPP’s commitment to transformative policies, stating that the 2024 elections will be about choosing "who can deliver the transformation Ghana needs."
Dr. Bawumia’s campaign tour visited Tolon, Kumbungu, and Tamale South, focusing on boosting NPP performance in key areas.
During his Tolon visit, he also commissioned a mosque, reaffirming his connection to the region.
