Mahama never promised to stabilise Cedi in 100 days – Bawa Mogtari

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has denied pledging to stabilize the local currency within 100 days of taking office.

Contrary to reports from the 8th Ghana CEO Summit, a statement by his aide Joyce Bawah Mogtari clarified that Mahama intends to initiate an urgent economic recovery and fiscal consolidation plan following a national economic dialogue within his first 100 days.

Mahama emphasized prioritizing economic stability and restoring a stable currency, demonstrating his understanding of Ghana's economic challenges.
