The Majority and Minority Chief Whips of Parliament, Frank Annoh-Dompreh and Governs Kwame Agbodza, have filed a motion to establish a special committee to investigate the loss of 80 million Ghana Cedis from the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) Investment Funds.

They also seek probes into public funds paid to Zipline Ghana and NHIA’s ICT contracts.

Additionally, Annoh-Dompreh criticized the Minority for boycotting parliamentary proceedings to support their leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, during his court appearances.

This boycott has raised quorum issues, prompting the Second Deputy Speaker to consider adjournment due to insufficient MPs.
