Minority demand probe into para-athletic visa scandal

The Minority Members of Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee has demanded an urgent probe into the Norwegian Para-Athletic visa scandal.

Nine out of 11 Ghanaian para-athletes went missing in Oslo, with one detained and their coach deceased.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports claims no knowledge of the team’s trip, and the National Paralympic Committee suspended three individuals for forging documents.

MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa revealed the team didn't register for the event, suggesting deeper issues. He calls for a transparent investigation to restore Ghana’s international reputation.
