The Minority caucus in Parliament plans to stage a second protest demanding the removal of the Bank of Ghana (BoG) Governor, Dr. Ernest Addison, and his deputies.

This follows their previous protest on October 3, 2023, spurred by a GH¢60.81 billion loss in 2022 and the allocation of over $250 million for a new headquarters.

Bawku Central MP Mahama Ayariga has since filed a Right to Information (RTI) request regarding the BoG’s financial losses and expenditures.

Ayariga is expected to lead the upcoming protest after securing necessary police clearance.
