The IMANI Centre for Policy Education (CPE) reported that promises in the manifestos of three Ghanaian political parties—the New Patriotic Party (NPP), National Democratic Congress (NDC), and Movement for Change (M4C)—are largely vague and non-quantifiable.

Senior Research Associate Dennis Asare highlighted that the organization evaluated these manifestos through a thorough process assessing financial viability, impact on private sector development, and overall policy implications.

The analysis categorized promises into quantifiable, semi-quantifiable, and non-quantifiable, revealing that both the NPP and NDC manifestos contained a significant number of vague promises, making accountability difficult if any party is elected.

Asare emphasized the ambitious nature of these promises without clear associated costs.
