NAPO’s brother eyes Manhyia South seat; posters emerge

Following Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh's confirmation as Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's running mate for the 2024 presidential election, the race to succeed him as Member of Parliament for Manhyia South has commenced.

The NPP's National Council officially endorsed Dr. Opoku Prempeh, known as 'NAPO,' prompting excitement from President Akufo-Addo, who hailed their pairing as excellent.

Posters of Nana Owusu Afriyie Prempeh, Dr. Opoku Prempeh's brother and Manhyia South Constituency Treasurer, have surfaced, signaling his intention to vie for the seat.

Other potential candidates are also engaging delegates, setting the stage for a competitive selection process.
