NDC Demo: ‘If you know you can’t be peaceful, don’t come’ – Mahama

John Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called for calm during the party’s nationwide protest today against the Electoral Commission (EC).

He emphasized that the demonstration is intended to be peaceful, urging participants to avoid violence.

The NDC is protesting discrepancies in the voter register, which the party claims the EC has refused to audit.

Demonstrators plan to march to EC offices in all 16 regions, with national executives delivering petitions in Accra.

Mahama urged protesters to respect the police and return home peacefully after presenting the petitions.
