The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is just making ugly noise in their quest to criticize the four-month old Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, Deputy General Secretary of the party, Nana Obiri Boahen has described.

“NDC people are just making noise in this country because there is no sense in their criticisms of the current” the outspoken Deputy General Secretary told the Central Regional Chairman of NDC, Mr. Bernard Allotey Jacobs.

“Hear what they saying concerning the eight members of Delta Force who have been discharged. They have even forgotten what happened under their regime. Talk about the Montie three and corruption that took place within their eight years in office”, he pointed out.

Nana Obiri Boahen told host of Nyhiria FM’s “Kroyemusem”, Kofi Asante Enning few days after the immediate past moderator of Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Prof. Emmanuel Martey was reported to have said critics of the current government lack wisdom.

But the NDC Central Regional Chairman, Mr. Bernard Allotey Jocobs who was joined the discussion via telephone attacked the comments of the clergy man.

He indicated that opposition party will continue to criticize and mount pressure on President Akufo-Addo and the NPP government even if they are a day old in office.

“Politics is about ugly noise, politics is about conspiracy, politics is about how well you package your message. It went well for them and they came to power”

According to him, NPP in opposition promised Ghanaians heaven and earth and it time to make their promises reality to them than to blame the past administration of recent economic challenges.

“We are just helping Ghanaians to know that NPP promised them what they cannot do”, Mr. Allotey Jacobs stated.
