NDC parliamentary candidate donates to market women, drivers to fight coronavirus

The National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for the 2020 general elections for La Dade Kotopon Constituency, Hon. Rita Naa Odoley Sowah popularly known as “Ny3 Awo Kpakpa” has donated some items in her quest to help fight against the novel Coronavirus, also known as Covid-19 on 21st March 2020.

In her bid to educate members of the La Dade Kotopon Constituency, the parliamentary candidate visited the market to donate and educate the market women on the disease on how to protect themselves from contracting the disease as well as their customers.

She advised the market women to observe the Health Ministry’s protocol measures to combat the disease to wash their hands regularly, sanitize their hands after receiving money from their customers and inform their customers to do so to avoid the spread of the disease as it has happened in other countries.

The NDC parliamentary candidate for La Dade Kotopon Constituency, Rita Naa Odoley Sowah donated items to the market women to enable them to indeed observe the Health Ministry’s preventive measures to guard against the disease.

Items such as “Veronica” buckets, detergents, liquid soaps, tissue papers, hand sanitizers, tables, chairs and bowls were donated to the market to help them wash their frequently as they come in contact with people constantly to prevent them from contracting Covid-19.

Present at the donation were constituency executives and some party bigwigs in the constituency.
