The NDC's Director of Elections, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has raised concerns about the credibility of Ghana's Electoral Commission (EC) ahead of the December 7 elections.
In a Facebook post, he described the current voters' register as "unfit for purpose" and called for a forensic audit or parliamentary investigation.
He accused the EC of delaying the register's release to the NDC, leading to the discovery of several anomalies during the exhibition exercise, including missing names and unauthorized transfers.
Dr. Omane Boamah urged Parliament and the international community to pressure the EC for transparency and hinted at upcoming public demonstrations.
