NDC slams IEA for announcing 2024 presidential debate without consultation

The Mahama 2024 Campaign has condemned the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) for announcing a presidential debate for the 2024 elections without first informing the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Spokesperson Joyce Bawah Mogtari criticized the IEA's actions as "completely unacceptable" and questioned the IEA's motives, accusing it of acting as a front for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to manipulate the electoral process.

The campaign emphasized that John Mahama and his running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, have consistently engaged with the public and addressed their concerns, thus questioning the necessity and fairness of the IEA's proposed debate.
