NDC wants to create unnecessary confusion with demo over voter register – Gary Nimako

Gary Nimako of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has dismissed the NDC's call for a forensic audit of the voter register as "baseless and unnecessary."

He argues that the Electoral Commission (EC) is following legal procedures and that the NDC’s concerns are aimed at causing confusion.

The NDC plans a nationwide protest on September 17, 2024, over alleged voter register irregularities and the EC’s refusal to permit an independent audit.

The protest will begin at 7:00 a.m., as confirmed by the Accra Regional Police.
