NDC yet to provide evidence of discrepancies – EC

The Electoral Commission (EC) has stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has not provided evidence to support its claims of discrepancies in the Provisional Voters Register (PVR).

The NDC held a nationwide demonstration on September 17, demanding an independent forensic audit of the register.

In its response on September 26, the EC argued that it’s premature to call for an audit as the legal and administrative processes to address issues have not been completed.

The EC urged the NDC to submit data on the alleged discrepancies and assured that all identified errors have been corrected.
