John Dramani Mahama, the NDC's presidential candidate, has dismissed alleged opinion polls by the NPP, calling them fabrications aimed at undermining credible projections favoring the NDC in the December 7 elections.
Speaking in Teacher Mante, Eastern Region, Mahama cited polls from reputable organizations like the Economist Intelligence Unit and Fitch Solutions, predicting a one-touch victory for the NDC.
He criticized the NPP's governance, citing economic mismanagement, unemployment, and infrastructure neglect, and warned that Ghana may take decades to recover. He also lamented the impact of the "haircut" policy on citizens, referencing the late Dr. Agyekum Addo's grievances.
Mahama championed gender equality, endorsing his running mate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang and reaffirmed the NDC's commitment to affirmative action laws for balanced representation.
