‘NPP-controlled police’ must be ashamed for detaining Naa Koryoo – Sammy Gyamfi

Sammy Gyamfi, National Communications Officer for the NDC, has condemned the arrest of Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor, the party's parliamentary candidate for Awutu Senya East.

He alleged that the police who are controlled by the NPP, arrested her on flimsy grounds, questioning the police leadership's transformation mantra.

Gyamfi claimed that Okunor was compelled to possess a gun due to threats from the incumbent MP, Hawa Koomson.

He accused the police of being used by the government to intimidate political opponents and demanded Okunor's release, vowing that the NDC won't be cowered.
