Former Greater Accra NDC Chairman, Joseph Ade-Coker, has criticized the ruling NPP for commissioning projects close to the 2024 general elections, calling it a "political gimmick" to win votes.
He argued that, after seven and a half years in power, the timing of these inaugurations—just weeks before the election—underscores the government’s shortcomings.
Responding to Ga West MCE Clement Wilkinson's statement about the government’s plans to open Agenda 111 hospitals, Ade-Coker questioned staffing plans for these facilities and expressed doubt that voters would overlook economic hardships for these gestures.
