Nduom appeals to Mahama to reinstate GN Bank if elected

Groupe Nduom has petitioned John Dramani Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, to restore GN Bank's license if he wins the December 7 elections.

GN Bank's license was revoked by the Bank of Ghana in August 2019, leading to the closure of its 300 centres and significant job losses.

Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, Groupe Nduom's Global President, emphasized the severe impact on livelihoods and urged Mahama to prioritize the bank's reinstatement to restore jobs and alleviate hardships.

Mahama criticized the NPP government's hasty banking sector cleanup in 2019 and promised an independent review to potentially restore licenses of affected banks.
