John Dramani Mahama, NDC's flagbearer, has dismissed the rumor that guinea fowls from a 2014 SADA project flew to Burkina Faso.
He clarified that the project was about incubating eggs and distributing chicks to farmers, not keeping large flocks in one place.
Mahama criticized media misreporting, which he says led to the project's failure.
He also noted plans for a processing plant to market the guinea fowls, which were thwarted by negative coverage. Mahama is open to reviving the initiative if given the chance.
