Nsawam-Adoagyiri: Queen mother installs Bawumia as ‘Internet Chief’

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, has been honored with the title "Ntentankesehene" (Chief of the Internet or Web) by Nana Awo Yaa Amankwah I, the queen mother of Nsawam.

The enstoolment, which occurred during Bawumia's tour of the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency, recognizes his significant contributions to Ghana's digitalization efforts.

The event was marked by a warm reception from party supporters and a historic visit to the Nsawam palace, where the local chief, Nana Kwame Ansah I, praised Bawumia's knowledge of tradition and his digitalization agenda.
