Opoku Prempeh to be unveiled as Bawumia’s running mate in Ashanti Region

The Ashanti Region, a stronghold of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will host the official unveiling of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

NPP National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye, announced this on Facebook, with details of the event to be provided soon.

Dr. Bawumia informed party executives of his choice on July 1, and an emergency meeting has been scheduled for July 4 to finalize the selection.

The event will introduce Dr. Opoku Prempeh as the official running mate, marking a significant step in the party's preparations for the upcoming elections.
