Organised Labour demands complete restructuring of SSNIT

Organised Labour has sought a resolution on the use of workers' funds by the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).

They expressed their distrust in SSNIT's management, citing recent actions and inaction.

Dr. Isaac Bampoe-Addo, Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG said he believed Organised Labour can better manage pensions than SSNIT.

They however demanded a total restructuring of SSNIT, questioning the government's appointment of a chair to the SSNIT board.

Organized Labour argued that SSNIT was mismanaging workers' money, not government funds, and wanted a new approach to ensure proper management and transparency.
