PPP’s Asamoah-Siaw sues EC over his disqualification from presidential race

Kofi Asamoah-Siaw, flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), has sued the Electoral Commission (EC) after being disqualified from the December 2024 presidential elections due to unspecified errors on his nomination forms.

He seeks a court order to overturn the EC's decision, claiming they failed to identify the errors.

Similarly, Bernard Anbataayela Mornah, flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), has also filed a lawsuit against the EC, arguing his disqualification violated his rights and due process.

He demands to be declared a duly nominated candidate and to halt ballot printing until his case is resolved.
