Parliament must summon Lands Minister over alleged sale of state lands – Murtala

Tamale Central MP, Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, has called for the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor, to be summoned to Parliament over allegations of selling state lands in Tamale and other areas.

Mohammed claimed lands belonging to Tamale West Hospital and prison service accommodations have been sold and are being rapidly developed.

He emphasized the urgency of the issue, highlighting that prison officers are being forced to vacate their accommodations due to the sales.

Mohammed stressed that this situation is causing significant housing problems for prison officers and needs immediate attention.
