Parliament reconvenes at AICC today

Parliament will begin the fifth meeting of its fourth session today, October 15, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre due to renovations in its main chamber.

Speaker Alban Bagbin announced this temporary relocation on September 30.

This session is crucial for addressing pressing national issues and advancing key legislative priorities, including deliberation on important bills and agreements.

Recently, Parliament approved a $250 million loan from the World Bank to support Ghana's Energy Sector Recovery Programme, highlighting the urgency of securing funding for national projects and economic recovery efforts.
