Parliamentary impasse: Ghana’s constitution needs a review – Mahama

John Dramani Mahama, NDC's flagbearer, has criticized Ghana's current political crisis, highlighting Speaker Alban Bagbin’s recent expulsion of four MPs and the Supreme Court's stay of Bagbin's ruling, which forced Parliament to adjourn.

Speaking at a church event, Mahama praised Bagbin's diplomatic handling of the situation, which he believes prevented a clash between the judiciary and Parliament.

Mahama stressed the urgency of constitutional reform to address governance challenges and prevent similar conflicts in the future.
