Former President John Dramani Mahama has urged the government to urgently settle the arrears owed to trainee nurses, highlighting that many have gone nearly 30 months without their allowances.
Speaking to trainee nurses, Mahama emphasized the financial struggles they face and noted that some have completed their studies without receiving any payments.
He reassured the nurses that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is committed to creating job opportunities, aiming to employ as many of them as possible.
