John Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, has vowed to hold those accountable for the $12 million financial loss on the Pwalugu Dam project if elected.
Despite the investment, no work has been completed on the dam, which was intended to prevent flooding in the Upper East Region by 2019.
During a media interaction in Bolgatanga, Mahama criticized the current government's handling of the project and promised to finish it.
He highlighted the need for consistent funding and expressed his commitment to see the project through, emphasizing that financial mismanagement must be addressed.
