Respect Bawumia’s running mate choice for party cohesion – Adomako Kissi

Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi, MP for Anyaa-Sowutuom, has called on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s choice of Energy Minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) as his running mate for the December 7 elections.

Adomako Kissi emphasized that the selection of a running mate is the flagbearer’s prerogative and should be respected to maintain party cohesion.

Sources indicate that during a meeting on June 25, Bawumia discussed his preference for NAPO with President Akufo-Addo.

Adomako Kissi stressed that Bawumia’s choice should be upheld, as it is a fundamental right of any presidential candidate.
