The Minority Caucus in Parliament has thrown its weight behind the 'Hands Off Our Hotels Demonstration' against the sale of 60% stake in six SSNIT-owned hotels to Agriculture Minister Bryan Acheampong.
The Caucus decries the transaction as a "shady deal" and "sweetheart deal" that reeks of cronyism and corruption.
They urged the public to join the demo to send a strong signal to the government that the people of Ghana reject this deal.
The Minority Chief Whip, Kwame Agbodza, signed the statement, which demands an immediate stop to the sale.
