Samira Bawumia et al storm Abidjan to propagate government policies

Wife of the Vice-President of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs. Samira Bawumia together with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Organizer, Sammi Awuku and Director of International Affairs Emmanuel Attafuah-Danso on Sunday October 20, 2019, stormed Ivorian capital city, Abidjan for a branch meeting aimed at bringing members together ahead of the election 2020.

The visit which received massive turnout afforded the team the opportunity to interact, educate and elicit feedback from the Ghanaian community in Abidjan on government policies and programmes.

Addressing the audience, Mrs. Bawumia was emphatic in describing the NPP Administration as the best and urged Ghanaians living abroad to continue to support the developmental agenda of President Akufo-Addo.

She appealed to them not to be deceived by the propaganda of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) but interrogate any negative news they read on social media platforms.

She also shared with them some of government's policies and programmes aimed at enhancing the lives of Ghanaians, both home and abroad.

Ghanaian resident in Abidjan in return gave great testimonies of the feedback they get from family members and friends back in Ghana and pledged their unwavering support to the party and also called on others in the diaspora to also support the transformation agenda of the NPP government.

Also in attendance were Ambassador Frederick Daniel Laryea, Ghana's Ambassador to Ivory Coast; Hassan Tampuli, CEO of the NPA; Director for International Affairs of the NPP, Mr Emmanuel Attafuah Danso; Deputy National Organizer of the NPP, Maxwell Coffie; Deputy CEO of Ghana Post Company Ltd, Kwaku Tabi Amponsah; Organizers for Bono, Ahafo, Western and Western North.
