The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged organizations committed to peaceful elections to condemn the violence occurring at vote transfer centres.
NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia highlighted an alarming rise in clashes, particularly noting a recent stabbing incident at the Electoral Commission’s office in Ofaakor.
This call for intervention was made during the NDC’s 32nd-anniversary celebration, where Nketia emphasized the need for peace-oriented groups to take a firm stand against such violence.
He stressed the importance of maintaining peace and order to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.
