Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has criticized the Majority for recalling the House from its break, accusing them of acting in bad faith.
This recall, requested by NPP MPs to address urgent matters like loan approvals and taxes, was deemed unnecessary by Bagbin.
He expressed disappointment that many listed issues were not urgent and warned against the frequent use of Article 112(3) of the Constitution, which allows MPs to request a recall of Parliament.
Bagbin cautioned that overuse of this provision could disrupt parliamentary functions and undermine governance.
