Stalled hospital projects: Asantehene charges Health Minister to ensure speedy completion

Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has expressed concern over the slow progress of hospital projects in the Ashanti Region, particularly the Sewua Hospital.

He urged the Health Minister, Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye, to expedite the completion of these projects, citing the need for prioritizing the health of the people.

The King noted that despite significant investments in hospital equipment, some facilities remain non-operational due to issues like power and road network problems.

He emphasized the importance of completing projects like the KNUST Teaching Hospital and Trede Hospital to alleviate pressure on Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
