Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have gathered at Parliament amid a leadership crisis following Speaker Alban Bagbin's declaration of four parliamentary seats as vacant, three belonging to the NPP.
This decision shifted the balance of power, allowing the NDC to claim a majority with 136 seats, while the NPP now has 135.
The Supreme Court intervened, allowing the four MPs to continue their duties, but the NDC insists on maintaining its majority status.
