The youth are kingmakers and must participate in election 2024 – Kufuor

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has emphasized the pivotal role of youth in elections, citing their potential as kingmakers following low voter turnout in Ghana's 2020 elections.

Partnering with the NCCE, the Kufuor Scholars Foundation launched a voter campaign to boost youth participation in the upcoming December polls.

Concerns of voter apathy and economic challenges underscored the urgency. The campaign, themed "Empowering Future Leaders: Education, democracy and Civic Engagement," aims to educate and engage through seminars and community initiatives.

Kufuor urged youth to fulfill their civic duties, highlighting their critical influence in shaping Ghana's democracy and future leadership.
