President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has accused the opposition of deliberately portraying him, his government, and his family as corrupt for political gain.
Speaking at the Ghana Bar Association Conference, he claimed this is retaliation for corruption allegations against the previous Mahama administration, some of which led to convictions.
He asserted that investigations have proven the allegations against his administration to be unfounded and stressed his commitment to due process in fighting corruption.
Akufo-Addo also highlighted his government’s efforts to uphold the rule of law and human rights both domestically and internationally.
